Once again, living in this evil ACC-land, I didn’t get to see a game where the Cats seem like they finally decided to show up and play some ball. Apparently, they dropped the hammer pretty hard on Florida International, winning by 92-49. Its about time. I wish I had seen that one, the last few I have seen have been horrid displays of basketball. It’s quite good to get a morale boost before the Louisville game this Saturday. I can’t comment on specific aspects of the game, having not seen it, but it sounded from the news wires like it was a solid team effort.
On the other hand, Louisville after its loss to Cincinnati yesterday will be looking to exact some revenge, and this is probably the softest Kentucky team they have played in years, perhaps ever. I just hope that softness is in the past and some hard playing, hard charging Cats show up for the game on Saturday which I will definitely be watching.
