Get over it. The parties involved will hammer this thing out. It would be good if they could do so before someone starts yelling all the wording from the end of the opening paragraph in earnest.
I only hope that Coach Gillispie is focusing on the Liberty Flames and not on this minor distraction. Distractions are one thing this young team doesn’t need right now. While I still smart from the law-firm loss, I think another loss of that magnitude to Liberty would be devastating for this team and perhaps even have folks calling for terms of the ‘missing’ contract to be finalized. Perhaps ‘just cause’ would be two losses to minor programs on our home floor. Would that embolden Texas Southern or what? These teams should FEAR coming into Rupp.
